ZeroAge, LLC ("ZeroAge") is the developer and operator of the Live Well App. ZeroAge respects your privacy, and takes the responsibility of protecting the personal and business information that you provide to ZeroAge via its website (the "Live Well App") very seriously. To that end, ZeroAge herein discloses its privacy practices and the possible uses of the information that it gathers via its Site (the "Privacy Policy"). Please note that ZeroAge may update this Privacy Policy from time-to-time, and you should check this page periodically for changes. If changes are made, ZeroAge will notify all users by stating the date the Privacy Policy was updated on this page.

For Purdue University Employees: This tool is provided to employees and their families for voluntary use. The information entered by the user of the system is not subject to protection by Purdue's Heath Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) compliance program. Purdue is not responsible for the confidentiality of the data entered into the system.

Information ZeroAge collects and uses in the Live Well App

In order to obtain services via the Live Well App and other ZeroAge products, take part in promotional activities, obtain informational materials or have questions answered, ZeroAge may request and/or collect from you personal information about you that may include: first and last name, demographic information, home address, office address, phone number(s), email address, activity logs, questionnaire responses, friend's email addresses and feedback on ZeroAge' services ("Personal Information").

ZeroAge does not knowingly collect any Personal Information from or about a child under the age of 13 without the consent of the child's parent or legal guardian. ZeroAge does not participate in bulk email solicitations that you have not consented to receiving (i.e., "spam"). ZeroAge does not sell or disclose client lists or email address lists, or pass on other Personal Information to third party advertisers.

By voluntarily providing ZeroAge with your Personal Information, you consent to receive information associated with services, promotional and/or other marketing information from ZeroAge. If you elect not to receive such promotional and/or marketing information, you may opt-out of receiving such materials by following the opt-out instructions contained in the materials or by emailing ZeroAge at info at zero-age.com

Information sharing by you in the Live Well App

The Live Well App provides capabilities to share information with other users.

  • Friends: Users that you authorize and add as "Friends".
  • Team Members: Users that you team up on activities with.
  • Community: Other users in your employer organization. If an employer organization cannot be found, the community is the general Live Well World.

This section explains how you will share information with these groups of users.

  • All Live Well App users will be able to see your user name, first name, last name, gender and your age group in the user directory.
  • Friends will be able to see priorities, activities, habits, and comments that you choose to share with them. In addition, they will be able to see summary stats such as total number of points, habits, activities and active days.
  • Team Members and potential Team Members will be able to see:
    • Activity logs and comments for that activity only
  • Friends of Team Members will be able see:
    • General details for that activity (action, activity description)
  • Your Community will be able to see
    • General details of any community pledges (action, activity description, average team participation, creator)
    • Total number of your points, activities and habits
    • Information on prizes and other rewards that you may win in raffles

Information shared by ZeroAge with Third Parties

ZeroAge only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of ZeroAge in the following limited circumstances:

  • We de-identify information according to established industry best practices such that it cannot be linked to a specific individual.
  • We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.
  • ZeroAge may disclose your Personal Information to the extent required to fulfill your transactions with ZeroAge, and if required or permitted to do so by law, or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of ZeroAge or the users of the Site, or to act under urgent circumstances to protect the safety of ZeroAge or its employees or a member of the public.
  • If ZeroAge becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will ensure the confidentiality of any personal information involved in such transactions and provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
